HAND-STRETCH FILM |
 |
| |
|
The handwrapper is the simplest implement for
Conventional Hand-Stretch film wrapping. The film is
mounted on a frame where unwinding of the film can be
slowed down by turning a handle. This is to allow a
certain degree of stretch control. Majority of films
are used in the least demanding applications. The
handwrapper can also be combined with a turntable
driven by an electric motor that is regulated by means
of a pedal. Film stretch ratio is less than 100%.
Suitable film thickness is 15-20mY and width is 500mm. |

PRE-STRETCH FILM |
 |
| |
|
Conventional Pre-Stretch film is designed for
conventional stretching, and is a technique where the
actual stretching is performed between the pallet load
and the film roll. The stretch force is generated by
the turntable carrying the pallet load. The degree of
stretching can be varied by film roll unwinded motion
restricted with braking device-centre brake, friction
rollers and surface brake. It cannot take advantage of
additional stretch in film and is only good for low
volume use. Utilizing cost is not critical. Stretch
ratio is 100-200%. Suitable film thickness is 20-35mY
and width is 500mm.

PRE-STRETCH FILM |
 |
| |
|
This means that the film is special formulated and
allow to pre-stretched more than 300% before it wound
around the load. There are two type of stretching
technique that has been developed in the market;
Roller Pre-Stretch and Motor Driven Pre-Stretch
device.
Roller Pre-Stretch means film stretching takes place
between two rollers next to the film roll. The rollers
are linked by means of a replaceable gear unit and the
degree of stretching can be varied. And the function
of Motor Driven Pre-Stretch is in the same manner as
Roller Pre-Stretch, but differs in that the stretching
rollers are motor driven.
The advantage of using Power Pre-Stretch film is high
pre-stretch ratio, load force regulated and suited for
irregular loads. Film Thickness: 15-35mY

WRAPPING FILM |
 |
| |
|
Conventional Wrapping Film is specifically designed
for tray overwrap applications to package fresh food
and is particularly suitable for meat, poultry and
produce packed on high-speed automatic lines. Used in
combination with polyethylene in a conextruded,
multilayerpolyolefin-based cast film, provides
balanced mechanical properties, good merchantability,
optical clarity and excellent elastic recovery. This
structure also allows high oxygen transmission rates
for optimised product presentation.
Conventional Wrapping Film complies with FDA
regulation 21 CFR 175.105 as well as most European
regulations when used unmodified and in accordance
with good manufacturing practices for food
applications. |
